About this project
Morrow Engineering was retained to provide structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering for a new bulk metal concentrate conveyor and tripper for a storage shed. The conveying system is rated for 1200 T/h. A winch moves the tripper along a track that is positioned overtop of the storage bins. Modeling of the conveyor transfer was performed to ensure optimal material flow. New MCCs were installed and instrumentation ensured safe and reliable operation.
